The cottage itself has everything you need. Cosy and comfortable. The wood-burning stove and abundance of firewood were a highlight. It’s private if you want to switch off completely, yet only a short stroll into Nethy Bridge.
The hosts were super friendly and helpful, suggesting local scenic walks which were brilliant — much appreciated.

Beautiful, gentle, quiet space connected to nature - I came back here after 8 years (having previously loved it!) and it still has the same special quality. Difficult to leave and I've fallen in love with the Nethy area, so much to see and do, even in January!
I was fortunate enough to see the Northern lights which was a truly ethereal moment.
Matt & Roger are both so genuine, warm & friendly and made me feel really welcome.

Absolutely! The Lookout Bunkhouse, and Traveller’s Cottage are family-friendly. Children will love exploring the forest, spotting wildlife, and enjoying the outdoor spaces.

Sorry, as much as we love pets, we do not allow them on-site during a stay. This is because we are surrounded by a sensitive landscape and forest, which includes rare ground nesting birds.
