Nestling amongst the pine forest, we look south across a neighbouring 100 acre grazing moor of heather, Caledonian pine, birch, rowan and juniper to Cairngorm (1245m) and Bynack More (1090m) 9 miles away.

• A deposit to the value of your first night's stay will guarantee a booking - otherwise we'll do our best to fit you in
• We appreciate knowing when you hope to arrive so that the wood stove can be lit for you if it's cold
• Checking out times can be fairly relaxed but no later than 10.30am please. However you are welcome to stay in the Lazy Duck all day if you are spending a second night or longer with us

FHUARAIN  FOREST COTTAGES Also available are two unique traditional self-catering cottages (4 STARS) each sleeping 5 people.  Badanfhuarain Cottage is just outside the village, together with our own home and the Lazy Duck Hostel.  Flox Cottage is in the village, also adjacent to the forest, just ten minutes walk from Badanfhuarain.
